Hi -
I retored some msg's from a hard drive that crashed using FTK Imager
and when I try to open them I get the following error message...
Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Can't open file
C:\Documents and Settings\. . .\md50000000205.msg. The file may
not exist, you may not have permission to open it, or it
may be open in another program.
I checked the permissions on the files and they are fine.
So, perhaps there is something else I haven't considered, or I've
done something wrong. The directories will not release the read-only
setting for some reason every time I try - but I've moved the msg's out
to another directory and they are not read-only and I still get the
same error. I'm totally baffled here. Somebody save me...
Thanks,
Tom M
