trying to password protect Personal Files without success

Until a week ago, my Personal Folder in Outlook Xpress was password protected
and whenever I needed to leave my desk I would just exit from Outlook and
walk away. Coming back I would open Outlook, enter my pwd and all was fine.
This week however, whenever I close OE and re-open it, there is no password
prompt and it opens directly into my private email messages. I have tried
resetting the pwd with no change, I have deleted the latest automatic Windows
update to Outlook and disabled the automatic updates option with no change. I
have archived old files in case space was an issue!

What has changed and how can I get my security back?
Hope someone has an idea - this is frustrating as every time I want to leave
I actually have to log off which then means waiting ages to log back on.
Thanks guys

Err Outlook and Outlook EXPRESS are two entirely different applications.
Click on Help-About and tell us whether you are using Outlook or Outlook
EXPRESS....

You cannot password-protect folders in Outlook Express.

Thanks Ben, That works brilliantly. I didnt realise that I could do that and
still keep all programmes running. It is a good solution.
I would still like to know though WHY things have changed with teh password
on the Personal folders file. It seems impossible that a computer should be
able to randomly change like that - there must be a reason.
