Trying to reinstall Office & Missing 25 digit key code

I purchased a Gateway computer and additionally purchased
MS Office Professional. I was missing certain tools that
I needed (mainly MS Equation Editor). I tried to custom
install just that component, however, it did not show up.
I tried this several times (yes, I restarted). Finally, I
decided to uninstall ms office and reinstall with a
customized install based on all the little things that I
needed that a basic install does not put in.
My problem -
I do not have the 25 digit key code - I can not find the
original certificate. I have a proof of purchase showing
that I actually legally purchased the sw. How can I
reinstall this without the key code?

You will need to contact Gateway for the code if you purchased the software
from them.

It's just not possible to install Office without the Product Key. If you do
not provide the Product Key during installation, the installation will
continue to ask for the Product Key, and will go no farther.
