trying to rotate a site plan, but can't get it just right

Hi,
I've drawn all the property lines of a rather difficult lot (no
parallel lines, no right angles) and would like to temporarily rotate
the entire lot such that one of the property lines is perpendicular on
my drawing page. This will simplify drawing the house and landscape
plans since the house parallels this one prop. line. After the drawing
is complete, I'd like to then rotate it back to its current position so
North is up. I cannot figure out how to accomplish this, as trying to
rotate the entire lot via the rotation handle does not allow me to get
it exactly perpendicular and changing the angle of that prop. line
throws everything out of whack.

Thanks,
Phil

How would you use the Size & Position window to rotate the entire lot
such that one property line (the one of your choice) is at 90 degrees
and the others move with it proportionally?

Not sure why you can't align your one line to within at least 1 degree of
accuracy....as you rotate the whole page (ctrl+mouse at corner of page) and
hence the lot, if you move your mouse away from the center the snap angle
goes from like 30 degrees to 10, to 5 to 1 degree.

Setup a guide line to align to and zoom out so whole page/sheet is only
about 1/2 to 1/4 of the screen.

With care and patience you should be able to align exactly and can return
back to original position later when desired.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I've done as Mr. Edlund suggested
and used the Size & Position box to manipulate the angle of the entire
grouped lot. By bumping it as little as a hundredth of a degree at a
time, I can get whichever line I need to line up right on the money.
For some reason, I was stuck on the idea that there must be some way to
select just one property line, set that to 90 degrees, and have all the
others move along with it proportionally.
