Trying to set up auto reply with a specific message

I am trying to create a rule that generates an auto reply to all incoming
messages, but uses a specific "message" as the reply. I'm using the Rules
Wizard, and it is configured this way: Apply this rule after the message
arrives: sent only to me; have server reply using .... I have created a
"custom" e-mail message with specific text in the subject line and a specific
message in the body of the message, and then saved and closed it. When I
enable the rule the auto reply works, but the only thing that is sent is a
message with my subject line, none of the body of the e-mail message is
included. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Does it work when you change the message format to Plain Text in your
template?

Which versions of Outlook and Exchange are involved here anyway?

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, no, Plain Text makes no difference.
Would REALLY prefer to use Rich Text since I'm including a company logo.

BTW, Exchange 2007 and having the same problem in Outlook 2003 and Outlook
2007. Any other ideas?

The rest may be pointless because Outlook will reply only once to each
unique address as long as it's running. It will not reply to all messages.

Exchange will reply only once per day to each incoming address.

Then what would you suggest. Basically, this is an HR mailbox to which
resumes are sent. They want to auto reply to everything that comes in. Is
there no way to do that?

For this particular application, a reply rule seems appropriate. I wouldn't
expect the same person to send you the resume repeatedly.

Rich Text isn't a good choice because only another Outlook can decode it.
HTML is best for this. You can include logos with HTML. I would recommend
the "have server reply using a specific message".

Brian. Sorry for the delayed reply. I was on vacation last week. I'm still
having the same problem. Even if I set the format to HTML. If I include the
logo in the message, the only thing that arrives in the reply is the logo as
an attachment, none of the body of the message itself is sent. If I delete
the logo, only the subject line is sent. What am I missing?????

I never send signarures containing logos and only rarely send messages
containing images. I send messages with links to web-based images or send
the images as attachments. I also never send HTML messages. All my
messages are Plain Text only. Even when I receive an HTML message and reply
to it, I convert the reply to Plain Text first, so I'm not a very good
resouce for questions about embedded images. Sorry.
