I thought you had followed the manual removal steps? If you did, Office
2007 should no longer appear in Add/Remove Programs.

this is the right kb but i cannot "remove" office by the add or remove
programmes panel.

See the KB for that error message on my RTM Issues Page. I'd bet that
it's the PDF/XPS add-in that Office 2007 is complaining about.

Hello,
I have done these steps 3 times now with no luck, I am waiting to install
the new version but I cant.
Is there any way someone can guide me through this or give me more suppourt.

Hello,
I have been following the manual removal steps of beta and have got stumped
where it says
"a. Click Start, click Run, and then type msiexec.exe /x.
b. Drag the .msi file that you found to the Open box.
After you do this, the Open box should contain the following text:
msiexec.exe /x Path_to_msi "
because when i type in "msiexec.exe /x" a box appears saying do you want to
install this product, this is not what microsoft say. They say something
about an open box and that is no where to be seen.
All help and advice would be greatly appreciated as I have the original copy
waiting to be installed.
