I don't know code so I'm trying to use the Import Wizard in Access to import
Excel Worksheet. I go to the Tables view of Access. I click on "New," Click
on "Import Table," Click "OK" the screen changes so that I may choose the
location of the file I want to Import. I set the "Field Type" to "Excel
Worksheet," find the file and double click on it. The "Import Spreadsheet
Wizard" box appears, I have previously in Excel set the print range so I
Click on "Show Named Ranges," Click "Next," Click "First Row Contains Column
Headers," (which I have previously entered into Access as they appear in
Excel with the format of "Date," and "Text") I Click "Next." Since I want to
put the information on the spreadsheet into an existing table in Access, I
click "In An Existing Table," locate the name of the Access Table, Click
"Next," The next popup menu shows the name of the Access Table I chose and I
click "Finish." I keep getting the same message that an error occurred trying
to import and "The file was not imported."
I have gone back through each of my worksheets and looked at the headings,
looked at the format of the cells; I've been trying to figure this out for
two days, with repeated attempts, any ideas?
