Trying to use Microsoft Publisher Newsletter as a Website in Google Group or Yahoo or even MNS

I would like to start a group. I would like to use Microsoft
Publisher. My research says to ask your web site for information on
how to do this. I would like my website to look like my Publisher
newsletter. Can you do that in a Google, MNS or Yahoo Group?

Try the following newsgroup:

microsoft.public.publisher.webdesign

or...

"Publisher Web Design"
http://tinyurl.com/hnslm

BTW, be sure to include your
MS Publisher version and your
Windows version.

Hi John, Thank you for your response. I have Publisher 2003 and Microsoft XP.
I am taking your suggestion. I was wondering if you were me would you just
try a new program like Expression or Frontpage? I would like to start a web
site about doll where I share my information on the subject by way of a
newsletter and hear from other interested people. Maybe have a few contest
and such. So my question is, would you keep working with Publisher or would
you go a different route?

Sorry, but I'm not into creating webpages
so I don't have any useful info for you.

The microsoft.public.publisher.webdesign
newsgroup would be a better place to find
answers.

I am a big believer in using the proper tool for the job. My suggestion
would be to use a real web design program, such as FrontPage or Expressions
Web. You can create your newsletter with Publisher, convert it to a .pdf
file and make it available as a download on your site.

Hi JoAnn,
I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure what is the best approach
to my
problem. I am going to take your advice and buy FrontPage or Expressions.
I'm going to spend the rest of the night comparing them. After all if the
group works and people are interested, I will want to upgrade to somthing a
bit more flexible than Publisher in the long run.
Thank You!

Expression Web is essentially the latest version of FrontPage - except
with a lot of the bad removed and a lot of good added. And no longer
such a definite component of Office (it uses the Office installer and
installs in the Office12 folder, but it is branded as part of the
Expression suite).
