Dear Users:
I can't get past the dialog box that asks about SQL Server 2000:
"Microsoft Access could not find either Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop
Engine or Microsoft SQL Server installed on your computer. Click OK to
display the Data Link Properties dialog box and log on to a remote server."
"If you want to install SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine on this computer
first, click Cancel, install it from the MSDE2000 folder on the Office CD and
then reopen this Access project"
My question is should I install the SQL server or remotely log on to a
server? If I do remotely log-on, where can I find a list of servers that I
can log-on to? I'm not sure how to proceed so that I can go ahead with
learning the Northwind sample Access project.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
