turn off delete block

The delete key does not function when attempting to compose a message in
outlook 2003. When the delete key is pressed a small bar pops up at the
bottom of the page. there it says... Delete Block No(Yes)

How do I change the option here?

Mike, this is happening because you're using Microsoft Word as your e-mail
editor and Word is set to emulate WordPerfect's behavior. Assuming you want
to keep on using Word as your editor, open Word and from the Tools menu
select Options, then the General tab, and uncheck the two
WordPerfect-related boxes at the bottom of the list.
