Turn off design view in Word 2000

When I turn off the design veiw in word that has some VB Script in it, save the document, then open it again, it opens in design view again. It also opens in Design View when other users open the document

If you have any idea on how to correct this, or where I can look to find the answer, please let me know as soon as possible
