I successfully used the 'disassemble picture' command to make changes to clip
art but now I can't turn off the command. I know it must be something simple
but I can't find it. can anybody help!!!

Hi Frances,

I'm not clear on what you mean by turn it off. When a graphic that can be disassembled it's enabled, it's dimmed when a graphic is
selected where it can't be applied.

What version of Word are you using and what are the steps you're following.

I expect frances wants to reverse the command and assemble the picture
again!

I'm guessing that that's what we'd usually call "Regroup". I would think
that Frances just needs to right-click the graphic and choose Grouping -
Regroup, or whatever the local language equivalent might be.

Hi Bob
I am using 2006'Word' and I have unsuccessfully tried to 'ungroup' which for
some reason is grey.

Hi Herb
thanks for your tip, I know that I must be doing something wrong. my
clipart turns out fine with the changes but my 'group' and 'regroup' are both
grey when I try to right click on them any suggestion would be welcome.

HI Herb
I have no trouble making the changes I want, it's just that when I do make a
change I would like to save it. I tried this but the clip was still in an
unassembled state on recall. By this I mean that to position it where I want
it moves in an unassembled state. Ps don't know if I am making any sense. I
tried 'group' regroup' and 'edit' all were grey.
