Turn off display of deleted text

I have just switched from Word from Windows2000 to Word
2002. So, now I cannot figure out how to turn off the
display of deleted text when I activate Change Tracking.
All I want to see are the changes I make. I do not want
to see those annoying balloons either. Anybody know?
