Is there a way to turn off the Getting Started with Access 2007 splash
screen? I find it very annoying and unnecessary.
In most cases, just click on a database....and the database launches, you
not see the startup screen.
In other words, if you launching the database you want to do some work on,
you never see that startup screen.
You can also setup ms-access to open the last database you were working on,
and again thus even just clicking on the access icon to start ms-access will
thus not show the startup screen. This option is in the advanced group on
the options nav pane.
So, for the most part, you not see that startup screen unless you not
actually opening a database.
And, I suppose if this is *really* a end of the world problem, then place of
a shortcut on your desktop to a blank db file. Or even place a blank db file
on your desktop in place of that shortcut and click on that to launch
access....
