Turn off image placeholder?

Hello,
All the images on my web pages show up with an image place holder instead of
the actual image in Design View and Split View, but show up fine in Preview
mode. I have checked all the settings I can find in FrontPage 2003, but
can't find where to turn this feature off...

It is a IE setting, not related to FP.
