Turn off Macro Alert

K

Kreiss

Is there a way to turn off the "macro waring" where users
can enable or disable macros when the Word document is
first being opended?

Thanks in advance,
Kacyh

If you're working in-house, sign the macro or put it in an add-in. If you're
distributing the documents in the wild, then for obvious reasons, no.

No, you can't change the macro security level using a macro that has not
been cleared by macro security. If you change it in a macro that is cleared
by macro security without warning the user, I would consider your macro to
be a virus.

Yes, the user can change the macro security level.
