turn off nicknames in contacts

In Outlook 2000 SR-1(9.0.0.3821)(Internet Mail Only)
With "contacts" open, in the e-mail address field, I see
the email address with underlined names instead of the
actual address. I need to see the actual email address
and not the underlined name of the contact. I don't want
to have to pull up a properties box to see the actual
address. How do I force it to show the actual e-mail
address in every "contacts" record instead of the
automatically inserted underlined nickname.
