Turn off pop-up triangles that automatically connect objects?

Tom

When I move my mouse over objects in Visio 2007, the program puts dim
triangles outside the shapes, which if clicked on, automatically draws a
line between objects.

How do I turn this feature off?

(I've tried finding it in Tools, Options and in Snap/Glue, and Help but have
not succeeded.

Hello Tom,

Go to Tools/General tab and uncheck "Enable AutoConnect". You can also do
this on the fly by clicking the AutoConnect button on the 'Standard'
toolbar...........actually I can't remember whether it's there by default or
if I added it myself. If you can't see it (a small blue square with four
blue triangles) right-click on the toolbar and select "Customize...", then
from Commands tab select the Tools menu in the left-hand list box and then
drag the AutoConnect item from the righ-hand listbox to where ever you want
it and click close.

Hope that helps

Best regards

John

Thanks, John. It was there right in front of my face... Maybe I shouldn't
start work at 5am here!

Thanks again.
