Turn off the Preview Pane globally

Please create an option to automatically turn off the Preview Pane in
Outlook throughout mailbox folder directory. Users have done great work
developing solid email management, but not all of them like the preview pane.
After upgrading a users version of Outlook the preview pane turned back on
throughout the 100+ folders. Each folder must now be accessed and the
setting changed. There is an section in Options to control the Preview Pane,
but not to turn it off. Why?

Is there already; modify your default Messages view for that or define your
own;

View-> Arrange By-> Current View-> Define Views...

Or modify the Outlook shortcut with the /nopreview switch.

Just curious; why would you want to turn of the ReadingPane completely?
