Turn off Track Changes in 2007

I have form template that was converted from 2003 and that is protected. When
I unprotect the document, Track Changes is highlighted. I unhighlight it,
save the document, but is pops up again when the protection is off. When
protection is on, the changes do not show. Help please!

Have you made sure to accept or reject all the comments in the document? If
there are any changes being tracked in the background, it will always default
to having track changes showing.

There wasn't any running in the background that I could find. So, I ended up
copying and pasting the body of the template onto a new page and saved it.
That seems to have fixed the problem! Thank you for your help.
