Turn on Capitalize the first word in a sentence – Outlook 2007

I just converted to Outlook 2007 today, the option to turn on "Capitalize the
first word in a sentence" is grayed out under auto correct options. Why are
these options grayed out and how do I turn them on? In addition, I cannot to
turn on the grammar options.

Is this because I am using outlook 2007 and word 2003?
