Turn sharing on for Calendar

L

La

I followed the directions in
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA011134811033.aspx but am unable
to find a "sharing" option on the calendar folders.

He's using Outlook 2003 on XP with Exchange Server: the client has several
calendars, all under the same "Archive" folder. Four of them have been
selected for sharing. He has gone through each of the calendars created and
added the five person's permission unto them. Four with reviewing and one
with editor rights. This has been done under the "My Calendars" list.

After reading several of the inquiries in the Discussion Group I was able to
narrow down that sharing must be turned on for the archive (root) folder and
subfolders. But this option is not available. I get the feeling that this
does not apply to Archive folders and the calendars must be moved as a
subfolder where the inbox is located.

Help!

If it's an archive folder set, it;'s likely that it's in a PST and therefore
unshareable. The folders must be in the mailbox in otder to be shared.

You can only share calendars in the mailbox, not in a pst. Shared secondary
calendars can only be views if you open the mailbox in the profile, not
using File, open, other users folders.
