I have imported data into Excel that creates a row of data. I would prefer that the data be in a column instead of a row. How can I turn a row into a column.? I can't use PivotTable because I have only one row and cut/paste doesn't do it either.

One way:

Copy the row. Select the cell to start at in the column. Choose
Edit/Paste Special, and check the Transpose checkbox.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

That was the trick I needed to know. I've never noticed or used the Transpose option previously and I couldn't find that in the documentation. Maybe it's there and I just didn't know where to look.

You solved the problem perfectly!!
