When I re-open a file that included a date (like a
letter), Word automatically changes the date to today's
date. I don't want it to do that. I want it to retain the
original date on the letter. Suggestions?
Delete the date field and replace it with text, or with a CREATEDATE field,
or SAVEDATE or PRINTDATE as required. Word's help covers all of this.
