Turning off the entry pop up box

When entering Access 2000 there is a pop up box that
automatically appears to option for opening an existing
file, or start a new one.
How do I turn this off?
I want to schedule an activity, but I must be completely
in Access for the task to work. With this reguired,
manual key stroke in the way, I cannot proceed without
being present.

I believe you are looking for "/database= switch" (if I understood your
question correctly)
