Turning Off Wiggly lines?

Fellow Forum Members,
I'm using Word 2003 and I need to temporarily turn off the wiggly red and
green lines that appear underneath sentences. I need to grab a clean screen
capture. How do I prevent these wiggly lines from displaying? Is there one
single master turn off button somewhere in OPTIONS because I can't find it?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

These lines are checking your grammar and spelling, you can turn them off by
selecting from the menu bar :

tools > language > set language

in the pop up box make sure that you place a check in "Do not check spelling
or grammar" - this should do it, if not then do this again and click on
"Default" button in this pop up box and set it as default.

Works like a charm. I looked all over OPTIONS for this functionality and it
never occured to me to look in Languages. Again thanks for the help.

Tools | Options: Check spelling as you type/Check grammar as you type
toggles these on and off (for the application, affecting all documents). But
if you just want to hide them for a given document, use "Hide
spelling/grammar errors in this document." You can also get to that option
by right-clicking the Spelling and Grammar Status button on the status bar.
Either of these options preserves your ability to spell/grammar check the
document manually (using F7)

If you select the text and format it as "Do not check spelling or grammar,"
as Julia suggested, you lose the ability to spell/grammar check at all (at
least until you reselect the text and remove the "no proofing" formatting).
