Tutorial Problems in 2000 and 2002 Versions

I can run the tutorial until I get to the portion where
you are to begin actually creating a test project. When I
click "Begin the Lesson..." on the Set Up The Project
screen, I get the following error:
"A runtime error has occurred. Do you wish to debug?
Line: 32
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method"

Am I missing something on my PC setup? We have
reinstalled the software a number of times and everything
else appears to work, except the tutorial. Is there
anything better than the tutorial for learning MS Project?

Hi John

haven't a clue as to your first question but i'ld like to comment on your
"Is there anything better than the tutorial for learning MS Project?"
question ..
YES :)
i would really, really, really strongly recommend a 2-3 day hands-on
introductory course in Project - it is not an intuitive program like excel
or word - there's a lot of inbuilt methodology that you need to come to
terms with if you want to use project successfully and i really think a
course like this is a good investment.

additionally, you should definitely check out www.mvps.org/project and i
would recommend "Special Edition Using Project xxxx" (where xxxx is the
version of project you're using) published by Que as an excellent reference
book.

Cheers
