What would be the right newsgroup to ask about a tutorial for Powerpoint? I
have this application that came with Office XP and know nothing about it.

In addition to checking the local bookstore/library and/or amazon.com
for books on the subject, you could also search the web on the subject,
starting with yahoo or google.

Finally, you could start with the Tips & Tutorials section of the PPT
FAQ at http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/#Tips & Tutorials.

Good luck finding help on line -

Power Point is used for Presentations where the user add
a 'viewer' that displays the slides on a screen - over-
head projector - has some really nice features.

You could try Video Professor they have some CD Training
tools -
