As good as the tutorial was, the new approach is -- having used it for a
while now -- (IMHO) far superior to the previous approach.
I, too, have issues with the web-based help but not for the reasons. In
my case, I find that Help's default font size is too small for my aging
eyes. One of the great things about the tasks panel is that it walks you
through step-by-step in developing the project schedule. Another major
achievement is the ability to customize it to your own corporate
standards. The extension from that point is obvious: there are
third-party organizations that have developed add-ins to the approach so
that bringing in a project management methodology can now be accompanied
by custom-tailored instructions to guide users in their custom-chosen
methodology.
The baseline save is (again IMHO) far superior now. Now, I can save
multiple baselines (something I like to do).
The indent/outdent issue has been addressed. You can get a hotfix here:

Thanks for the reply. I don't like a lot of the changes
in the 2003 version including the fact that the tutorial
isn't even included on the CD. Also, the default help (not
changeable from what I can deduce)is web-based (much
slower)rather than offline help searching. I also have to
separately save a baseline (it's not offered at the save
time). I also experience many instances where I cannot
successfully indent/outdent subtasks and summary tasks. I
end up having to copy everything back into Excel and then
recopying tasks without bold/indents etc. back into
Project. That problem has been with Project for some time,
however, not just 2003. So far, my upgrade $$ was not
well spent.
