twain driver on ocr scan

I am new at this Microsoft Office thingy. When I select Microsoft Office
Tools/Microsoft Office Scanning, there are no scanners listed and all
that I ever get is "you have chosen a WIA scanner", when I attempt to
scan wih resulting error. I know the correct driver/twain is installed
on my computer as I use it often and it works for every program EXCEPT
in Microsoft Office Tools.

When I look in the registry there is no scanner listed for Office 10.

Any possible solutions???
