Folks,
Here's my situation. I'm running two (2) Small Business Server 2003
systems (latest patches) with Exchange 2003 SP2 (also running latest
patches). Two (2) separate Windows domains (domain1, domain2).
I have users on both systems and they want to be able to view each
other's calendars via the "Open Other User's Folder..." File menu
option. These users are running Entourage 2004 (latest updates, 11.2.3).
When I select the "Sharing" properties on calendar in Entourage in
domain1, click "Add User...," click "Advanced...," enter "domain2" in
the Domain field and the user's account id in the Account ID field and
click Ok I get this error:
"Entourage cannot modify permissions on the Exchange Server. There was
an error while attempting to modify permissions on the server."
Any ideas? I'm thinking it has to do with restrictions in Small Business
Server but I can't find anything to back me up on that. Also, the SBS
isn't showing me any logs of the Entourage client trying to make changes
on the server.
Any suggestions would be quite helpful. Thanks and have a great day!
