Two copies of personal folders showing

I have just installed outlook 2003 as part of office 2003. I have a hotmail
account as well several normal pop3 accounts. In the left panes under
'favourite folders' I now have 5 entries:
- inbox
- sent items
- inbox in personal folders
- sent items in personal folders
- inbox in hotmail
Underneath in the 'all mail folders' section I have two copies of personal
folders. Both are identical (and point to the same outlook.pst file).

Both inbox and inbox in personal folders show the same data.

How do I get rid of the second rougue entry? I am happy to edit the
registry if there is no way through the menus (and I think I tried most
obvious things).
