I have just migrated my wife to a new computer. We wanted to retain all
her Outlook data, old messages and the like.
I installed Office 2003 and then located the new, empty Outlook.pst
file. I replaced it with the old Outlook.pst file from the previous
computer. WHen I start Outlook, I now have 2 "Personal Folders" listed
in the pane at the left of the screen. The 2 are identical, each
containing all the sub-folders and messages from the old Outlook
installation. I cannot close one of them - when I right-click, the Close
command is grayed out. Any ideas what is causing this or how to fix it?
According to their properties, both Personal Folders ar linked to the
same Outlook.pst file.
Thanks,
