Version: v.X
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC

First, I tried to open a powerpoint file I made last year. Powerpoint would almost open, and crash. So, I threw it out, and reinstalled powerpoint from disk (alone.) It still crashed. I went ahead and made a new folder and reinstalled the whole suite, in case there was something about the ppt being in its own folder. It still crashed.

So then I went online to see if there were any UPDATES. (I seem to remember having to install a lot of security updates, but there isn't anything for Office:mac OS v.X

Any suggestions? I cant afford to upgrade.

This is the last updater. It's a combo:

Microsoft Office v. X for Mac 10.1.9 Update release date 1/5/2007 (This
update includes all of the improvements released in all previous Office v. X
updates.)

Any suggestions? I cant afford to upgrade.

If you don't need Exchange you can get Office 2008 very reasonably. $117.99
