Two labels on a single connector

How can I set two labels on both extremes of a single connector?

Like:
[Shape1] <-A------------------B-> [Shape2]

Is it possible using Visio 2003?

Here's the simple answer:

1. Draw a connector
2. Go to Shape > Grouping > Convert to Group.
3. Now you can go to Edit > Open [group-name] and you will be inside the
connector, where you can put more text blocks.

The problem is getting these internal- or sub-shape text blocks to be
exactly where you want them to be at all times! Perhaps this will get you
started and lead you to more questions for us! Sorry to be such a tease! : )

Thanks for the pointer Chris! It worked, but had the problem you said
it would have. Which is, with some fiddling I can get labels positioned
where I want the first time, but as soon as I reposition the connector,
I lose the positioning. In a predictable way indeed, since the labels
seem to be clearly attached to a box, the problem is my connector is
not a box.

Now I'm trying with a "bridge" approach. I have two connectors joined
by a shape in the middle. Both connectors have their end points
protected (where they connect with the bridge shape). But it's
difficult to handle and doesn't seem to play well with "lay out
shapes"...

Any other ideas?
