Two lines on y-axis

I have dates that I am using in an Excel chart in the format mmm-yy and would
like mmm- to appear on one line and yy on a second line underneath mmm-. Is
there a way I can do this?

Hi,

Yes you can use a custom number format.
Double click axis and go to Number tab.
You need to put a line break in between months and years so type

mmm ALT+0010 yy

Use the numeric keypad for the ALT+0010 part. If done correctly you will
just see yy in the textbox.
You may need to force the alignment of labels to horizontal if the chart
decides to angle the labels.
