Two Master folders

Somehow I managed to install outlook 2000 with 2 Master
folders. Each of them in different directories. Outlook
would only allow me to make one of them the main master
folder but wouldn't allow me to erase the other. When I
tried to find out the location of the 2nd master file,
outlook would only tell me that the object couldn't be
found. I did a search on my hard drive for the MAINFO PST
file and found the second file in a different directory.
I erased it. Next time I brought Outlook up, it still
showed the folder but now it tells me it can't find the
file whenever I tried to open it. But it still shows the
folder in the folder list. How dumb is this? How do I
get rid of the folder listing?
