two office 2003 discs!!!

I have two Office Basic Edition 2003 discs. One came with my HP laptop and
the other came with my Dell laptop. They got mixed up and I have no idea
which one came with which laptop. Does it matter which disk I use if I have
the product key?

Not if they are the same type, ie both OEM or both retail....
