Two people receive responses from meeting requests

I have someone at my work who routinely handles the organization of meetings
on behalf of her boss. She fires out meeting requests to all the attendees,
but when they reply to accept or reject the meeting request, she receives a
response, but her boss does as well.

Can anyone think of a reason why more than just the meeting request
originator would receive replies to a request? Kind of a weird one...

Not weird at all if the boss has not set up the delegation to send responses only to the delegate.

Thanks for your prompt reply! How would I be able to check for this - can
this option be set on a meeting by meeting basis, or would this setting be in
the general settings for meeting requests for the specified user?

It's a global setting. Look over the boss' shoulder at their settings for Tools | Options | Delegates.

Or, if you have full rights to the boss' mailbox, create a new mail profile that connects directly to that mailbox.

Thanks again! Now that I think of it, the "boss" does have this person set
up as a delegate - how can I set it up so only the delegate would receive
replies? Would this involve turning the delegation off?
