Two Problems With Outlook

Hi:

I currently have two problems with Outlook, as follows:

1. When I open an email in my Inbox and close it out to go to another email
then the email that I just opened completely disappears. It does not go to
the Deleted Items Folder, but is just completely gone.Once I read an email
and go to another the email that I just read disappears.

2. I no longer can send an email and am getting an error notice 554 5.7.1.

Any help with both or either will greatly be appreciated.

My guess is that the View you are looking at is Unread Messages. Change it
to Messages. You can do that using the menu and the View button. Exactly
what the steps are depend on your version and you didn't tell us that
crucial piece of information.
