Two project managers

I'm running Project Server 2007

Can a project be managed by two project managers at the same time? I mean,
is it possible for both project managers to accept or reject updates to the
same tasks (not different ones)?

Thanks for your quick reply Ben.

And having a project with two project managers, each being responsible for
updating different tasks?

In 2007 Yes, change the 'Status Manager' of each task in Proj Pro to the
owning PM.
