Two Questions about Frontpage 2003 Capabilities

Hi,

Two questions for the experts:

On a sever hosting frontpage.

Is it possible to

1) make certian pages password protected where the traditional username and
password field box comes up, and being able to assign certian usernames/
passwords

2) to do an online poll where voting is possible and immediate tabulation of
results.

Thanks and if so, how?

The server hosts the front page extentions, so must that be Windows?
Can Unix run Frontapge?

And, and excuse my newbieness, but what is ASP, and where can i find a
tutorial to do these things?

Are there wizards in FP2003?

Yep.
All of my sites are hosted on Apache / UNIX with FrontPage extensions.
You need to determine your server type to determine what it does and doesn't support.
Post a link and someone will post back and tell you the type of server the site is on.

Oh, and fwiw, we normally top post here.
