Two sided postcards

Hi everyone. I can't figure out how to create two-sided postcards under Blank
Publication. I need content on one side and address info on the other side. I
will be using mail merge to insert addresses. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thx!

Why don't you start with the postcard template? Even if you don't like the
pre-designed ones, you can always delete it out.

Use the postcard setup. Unless you have a duplex unit, you'd be better off
creating two publications.

Thank you. I did create two different documents: one for the back and one for
the front; but, when I printed a sample, the fronts and backs didn't line up
correctly. What could I have done wrong?

Do you mean margin wise? Are you using a name on the front, such as Betty Smith
and trying to have "Dear Betty" on the back?
If it is the latter, you will have to setup your data differently on the back.

Betty Dorothy
Dorothy Betty
Fred Billy
Billy Fred

I have a sample Excel data worksheet here

OK, so how do you print just the one page so I can do that side first and
turn over to the other side. I feel like a dork asking all this but I don't
usually do the DT publishing in our office.

I would advise adding a page, but she is merging, lots of times this stuff gets
all messed up when one is merging and there are two pages. It is easier to
create two publications.

Thank you, Mary. Here's the difficulty I'm facing. There is a "first name"
merge field on both the front and the back of the post card so the first name
has to be the same on both sides. The problem I am running into is that when
I flip the paper over to print the second side, the names are mixed up.

I figured out what I was doing wrong. I had configure the settings of my
printer to "flip on the short edge" and it worked.

Thanks again, everyone, for your suggestions.
