Two tables, almost identical

I have two tables almost identical. One table has 400 named unique
items and the other table has about 340 same named unique items.

I want a query that displays only the 60 items that are not in both
tables... I used to know how to do this. LOL What happened to
my brain?

Jim,

There's a query wizard to do just that. From the Queries tab (in the
Database window), select New --> Find Unmatch Query Wizard.

I remember something like that in the past. I've run through the Query
Wizard but all it does is create a select query. I'm using Access XP
that's working with an Access 2K file. I don't think that matters...

Hmmm. Find Unmatch turns up nothing in the help, but I'm going to
Google now.

<g> Darn Google! LOL I searched for fund unmatch query access and
thought I typed in Find Unmatch Query. Bahh! Found it in the help file.
I thought Google had a serious issue with me and went back to the help
file. The word unmatched query instead of unmatch query helps find it
better.

I was clicking on the text in the query portion. Have to click on the New
in the toolbar. Thanks!
