Two variable length bookmarks on the same line

I have two bookmarks fields on a document, the first being the date and the second (near the right hand margin) a line from the address. I have everything lined up using the spacebar but given that the date itself varies in size (length) I cannot get my right hand bookmark to line up with the rows above it and below it. Is there any way to make the two positions absolute

Thank yo

Hi Robin,

First, I would never use spaces for alignment, since unless you are using a
mono-spaced font like Courier, your alignment is toast as soon as text is
entered. Use tabs (or even a table with the borders invisible) instead. As
long as the text entered into the first bookmark does not push past the tab
for the second bookmark location, the tab solution will work and is simpler
(Occam's Razor).

If the text from the first bookmark has the possibility of pushing past the
tab point, use a table and wrap the text from the first bookmark inside the
cell.

HTH and have a great day!

Steve
