Two webs - same domain - kept separate in FP - how to link ??

I have a huge web on my domain. My daughter uses a sub-directory for
her web just under the root of my domain.

For the last 2 years we both have happily maintained our two
respective websites, both on my domain. I use the root, and she uses
a sub-directory off the root.

But now, I want to link to a lot of pages and images on her website.
I know I can hard code the links in - but is there any way to quickly
browse to the links? I could add it as a subweb, but then my overall
web structure becomes humongous, and I am concerned about corruption
and other FP problems - also it will take so much longer to
recalculate hyperlinks and perform other functions. I would like to
keep the two webs separate but find a way to quickly add links to her
site.

When I bring up the hyperlink dialog box - the top "Look in" field
defaults to my web, and the UP arrow is greyed out - I can't go to the
next level up, which is where her web is stored. When I click on the
"Browse" button next to the hyperlink field at the bottom, it takes me
to "My Documents" and I then have to click through multiple levels to
get to her web.

Any way to add links quickly and still not add her web as a subweb to
my web ??
