Two word documents opened at once.

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Please help. I usually will have two or more word documents open at once. When I minimize, the document goes into my dock... which is right. But when I click to restore it..... it wants to open the document behind the current document, rather than on top.

I used to be able to restore the document and have it displayed immediately. Now I have to restore the document from my doc and then minimize the other document. Takes a lot of time. Please help me.

Same here. Seems to be a problem of Word:mac 2008 on Snow Leopard (or the latest Office:mac patch?). It does not happen with, e.g., Powerpoint on Snow Leopard.

Time for a bugfix...

No, I'm afraid it isn't just Snow Leopard. I can repro the issue here even
in Tiger (10.4.11) although it doesn't seem to be 100% consistent. It has
been reported but not fixed as yet.

Yeah, it's a nuisance, but you're going to way too much trouble as to how
you're dealing with it :) When it happens just use the Window menu or the
Command+` keystroke to swap windows. In fact, unless you have a specific
reason/preference for doing so, it really isn't "necessary" to minimize to
the Dock in the first place.

Hopefully it will be fixed in a forthcoming update.
