Denise

Can I set up my contract to be able to type the
consultant's name on the first page and have it change in
the body and on the signature page? Same with the
compensation - can I enter the dollar amount once on 1st
pg and it will change in body of contract and on exhibit
page (last pg) ? - thanks for any & all help!

Hi Denise,

If you can tolerate the restrictions imposed by having the document
protected for forms, use a formfield as the place to enter the data and at
the other locations, insert cross-references to the text of the bookmark
assigned to the formfield.

Alternatively, use a userform and create document variables to hold each
piece of data and then use document variable fields whereever you want the
information to appear.

See the article "How to create a Userform" at:

You can also use the ASK and REF field codes within the
doc to prompt the user for information to be assigned to
a bookmark, and then reference the bookmark contents
throughout the document. I use a set that are in a text
box on the first page and hidden.
