type japanese in word 2000 on windows xp system?

I can't find the right japanese ime to use with Word/Office2000 on my Windows
machine. When I download the Office 2000 jamondo.exe it says if does not work
on windows XP. The only one that I can find that works on Windows XP requires
Office XP. Where can I find the right thing for office 2000 on a windows xp
machine???
