Type of telephone number

How can the type of telephone number be changed for a
contact? Does it have to be copy/pasted to another field?

Not sure what you mean by changing the type of telephone number. Please
elaborate. If you mean change the Home Phone designation to the Work Phone,
then yes. You enter it into the other field.
